The Corona Virus and how you can prepare for it
By Office Supples IE
The Corona Virus is a flu like a virus and it spreads in a similar fashion to the flu. The initial symptoms are shortness of breath, dry cough and fever (with a high temperature).

If you have the symptoms avoid contact with people and self-isolate. Don’t go to your Doctor or into Hospital! Phone them first and ask for advice. If you cannot reach your GP or in an emergency then call 999 or 112.
Other instructions to protect you from the Virus:
Wash your hands regularly and throw tissues into a bin, disinfect objects and surfaces. Wash your hands after you have used a tissue.

Wash your hands with soap before eating food, after using the toilet, after coughing and sneezing, when you are outside and have contact with many people, before and after preparing food, if your hands are dirty and you have contact with animals. There is no indication that cats and dogs can spread the virus, but better to be safe than sorry! Don’t touch your eyes, mouth or nose if your hands are not clean!

You will need be tested if you have symptoms and been to a country or region that has already had to confirmed cases of Corona virus.
If you do not have symptoms of the virus there is no need to wear a facemask.
And remember, the risk of catching the Corona Virus is still very low.
Stay safe!
