Irelands Women’s Soccer team are competing for the first time this year and were in the Group of Death (Group A) because they had to play against the strong teams of Canada, Nigeria and Australia. Unfortunately they didn’t qualify because they lost against Australia and Canada. But we still believe the Girls in Green did really well and the future is bright for Irish Women’s football.
