Not only have the clocks changed, but it is also getting dark sooner in the evenings. Also the weather is different now. When it's November you realize how fast the weather changed and how quickly it gets cold outside.
In November you also notice the transition from summer to winter the most.
The weather changes and beside the fact, that it gets cold, it is also rains more often. Because of the rain outside it feels colder and after that it’s a wet weather.
But why is it cold outside?
During the Winter season the sun rays hit the Earth at a shallow space. Also, the long night and short days prevent the Earth from warming up. That’s, why it’s cold outside.
The arrival of the cold and rainy weather often evokes mixed feelings, with some dreading the chill while other can’t wait for the cold weather. We must make the best about the cold and wet weather.
Instead of grumbling about the the cold weather like this, avoid being outside too much. Instead of freezing outside you can:
- Make yourself some tea or hot chocolate, that’s also nice to do with friends or family
- Go in your bedroom and watch your favourite movie, you won’t miss anything
- Draw or craft anything (for instance with own collected leaves)
- Look on the internet for Christmas presents for your loved ones
- Indoor sports and exercise for your health
But don’t forget It’s still important to go out for a little walk so that you get fresh air. Even though the weather gets colder with every day, remember there are still so many things you can do.
