Autumn is coming

2 min

By the time Autumn rolls around, Ireland becomes more silent. Schools and colleges are back in session, days are getting shorter and colder, and landscapes are changing colour, from green to shining gold.

It’s a good season to roll up in a blanket, get a cup of tea or hot chocolate and watch the leaves falling from the trees.

But what can we expect this Autumn? Will there be another lockdown? And will the cold season be an uncertain time again because of Covid? What do we have to be prepared for?

But first, let’s focus on the good and enjoy it for as long as possible.

Luckily, in Ireland we are always having a reasonable time, no matter where you are. Whether you are in the North of Ireland, discovering the Giants Causeway or in the South where you can go whale watching in Kerry or visit small fishing villages with their remarkable harbours in the rough countryside of Cork.

It all depends on if the weather is good!

Autumn is also a great season for spending time with loved ones. In this area, Ireland provides quite a few options.

For example, there are many festivals you can visit. The Wicklow Walking Festivals, which are a mixture of colourful forests, valleys and coasts. Or the Galway International Oyster and Seafood Festival, with its extraordinary selection for all the food-lovers among us.

You can always find something to do!

Furthermore, Autumn is also the season of the harvest. Visiting one of the various markets, like the St George’s Market in Belfast or the English Market in Cork, to buy some fresh fruit or vegetables might make a good weekend getaway.

And what could be better than drinking some iconic native beverages like an Irish Coffee in a cosy cafe or a Guinness in one of the numerous Irish pubs nearby? – To get away from everyday life and to chat with some nice people.

After the intense heat of the Summer, it can be a relief when the weather changes significantly, when the air gets colder and the wind gets stronger.

Jackets will be dripping wet due to the constant rain, and everyone will be happy to get inside where you can warm up and let your clothes dry.

As a prevention against diseases and germs, bacteria and of course viruses, it is very advisable to clean work spaces and frequently used items. Therefore, we are pleased to offer cleaning fluid for printers, notebooks and screens, or even for general use. As well as umbrella stands or coat racks to hang up you wet clothes.

The better we prepare for this upcoming Autumn, the more we can embrace and enjoy it!
